BPI-NPQSD Marks 48 Years Strengthening Food Security

The Bureau of Plant Industry–National Plant Quarantine Services Division (BPI-NPQSD) officially opened the celebration of its 48th anniversary on June 10, 2026, at the BPI Director’s Office Conference Room. The event carried the theme, “Beyond 48: Innovating Plant Biosecurity to Anchor Philippine Food Security.”

Officials, employees, and key stakeholders gathered to commemorate nearly five decades of service dedicated to safeguarding the country’s plant resources and ensuring the safe movement of agricultural products.
